New domain name registration

To register a new domain name and order web hosting at the same time, use the web hosting order form.

To register one or more domains without web hosting, or to check domain availability, use the domain registration form.

Domain renewals and transfers

To renew one or more existing domain names, or to transfer from another registration provider, use the domain renewal form.

Transferring domain name registrations to Korax is always free. Renewal years will be added to the existing registration term of the domain.

For example, if you paid your previous provider for two years of registration, and you renew with Korax for one year, you'll have a total of three years' worth of registration.

Rights and responsibilities

Domain name registrants have rights and responsibilites as set forth by ICANN, the body that coordinates the Internet's domain name system. Read about registrant rights and responsibilities.

Domain transfer requirements

Domain names can be transferred from another registration provider to Korax if the following conditions are true:

• The administrative contact e-mail address listed in the domain registration is valid.
• The "transfer lock", "private registration" or "Whois privacy" services have been turned off at the current registration provider.
• The domain name is not on hold for non-payment or other reasons.
• It has been at least sixty days since the domain name was first registered, or transferred to the current registration provider.
• Preferably, at least thirty days remain in the current registration period, to allow for any unforeseen delays during the transfer process. Generally, domain transfers from one registration provider to another take about one week to complete.
